The 4th Annual Chicago Pump It Up For Platelets! 5K walk/run took place on Saturday, September 16, 2017. 104 walkers and runners participated in the event, with 10 different teams representing both child and adult ITP patients. The event raised a total of $18,049.15 in donations, registrations and sponsorships.

CSL Behring, a national silver sponsor of the walk/run program, had a representative in attendance who passed out giveaway items to the participants. Special thanks to event organizers Susan Frank, Trish Santaromana and Jennifer Slad for all their hard work on this annual event.
